Description:

ECS is seeking a Business Development Director to work in our O'Fallon, IL office.

The individual will have full responsibility to manage and grow ECS capabilities in the USTRANSCOM and COCOM market. Key Roles identified below: Manages Customer Relationships Identify key capabilities Work with corporate staff to ensure programs and staff operate as expected. Business Development activities to identify & pursue new opportunities Selects personnel according to knowledge and experience in area with which program is concerned Confers with staff to explain program and individual responsibilities for functions and phases of program. Directs and coordinates personally, or through subordinate managerial personnel, activities concerned with implementation and carrying out objectives of program. Reviews reports and records of activities to ensure progress is being accomplished toward specified program objective and modifies or changes methodology as required to redirect activities and attain objectives. Prepares program reports for superiors. Controls expenditures in accordance with budget allocations. Ensures Sales, Revenue targets are achieved for the portfolio while ensuring high customer satisfaction measure.

Salary Range: $160,000 - $180,000

  • The individual will need an Information Technology background as well as an understanding of USTRANSCOM and COCOM Acquisition processes.
  • Broad Information Technology understanding to include but not limited to Enterprise IT, Cloud, Cyber technologies.
  • Knowledge of USTRANSCOM/ COCOM IT requirements and relationships within Air Force community.
  • Understanding of USTRANSCOM/ COCOM Program Execution Offices.
  • Understanding of USTRANSCOM/ COCOM Acquisition process and how it relates to Business Development efforts.
  • Knowledge of USTRANSCOM/ COCOM mandatory contract vehicles.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
  • Ability to support proposal efforts by providing Information Technology thought leadership.
  • Ability to grow capabilities and market presence.
  • Ability to supervise the USTRANSCOM/ COCOM Programs and Program Managers and ensure operational excellence while ensuring growth focused portfolio management.
