Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and experienced B2B Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts for battery solutions designed for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B sales, a deep understanding of energy storage technologies, and a proven ability to drive revenue growth in the renewable energy sector. This role involves developing strategic sales plans, building customer relationships, and achieving sales targets in a rapidly evolving market.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to promote battery solutions for BESS applications.
  • Identify and engage potential B2B clients, including renewable energy developers, utilities, and system integrators.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their energy storage needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Negotiate and close high-value contracts with key stakeholders in the energy storage ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments to identify new opportunities.
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, performance reports, and market analysis to senior management.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote our BESS solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal R&D teams to communicate customer needs, market expectations and identify improvement, potential product improvements and help develop the product roadmap
  • Ensure regular submission of reports to upper management, covering customers visited, trainings provided, product issues and concerns, potential sales opportunities, and competitor information.
  • Facilitate and lead meetings with different departments, to fully understand product needs and complexity.


Key Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Required:

  • Understanding of Solar PV and BESS in various applications including residential, C&I and utility.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • High degree of involvement with customers, industry associations, and other market information sources to ensure sufficient market knowledge.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards relevant to BESS.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Ability to analyze market data and develop actionable sales strategies.
  • Proficiency with CRM Software(Salesforce) and Microsoft Office.


Desired:

  • Sound knowledge of Residential BESS and experience with residential electrical systems.
  • Knowledge of software applications, especially as it relates to residential ESS, is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Korean language is a plus.


Education and Experience

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Five or more years' experience in a B2B sales, technical role, preferably in the solar energy industry or related sectors.
  • Experience in VPP (Virtual Power Plant) related programs with utilities or inverter companies.


Travel
Up to 50% domestic travel with occasional international travel.
