We are seeking a skilled NetApp Consultant with deep expertise in ONTAP and StorageGRID technologies to join our infrastructure and storage solutions team. The ideal candidate will design, deploy, manage, and optimize enterprise-grade storage environments to support our customers' high-performance and scalable storage needs.

We are seeking a skilled NetApp Consultant with deep expertise in ONTAP and StorageGRID technologies to join our infrastructure and storage solutions team. The ideal candidate will design, deploy, manage, and optimize enterprise-grade storage environments to support our customers' high-performance and scalable storage needs.
THESE ARE THE JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF A NETAPP STORAGE CONSULTANT:
- Design and implement NetApp ONTAP storage solutions in enterprise environments, including AFF, FAS, and hybrid configurations
- Deploy and manage StorageGRID object storage platforms for long-term, scalable, and secure data retention
- Provide end-to-end support for NetApp environments including upgrades, patching, capacity planning, and performance tuning
- Conduct storage assessments, migrations, and health checks
- Integrate NetApp storage with VMware, Microsoft, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.)
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using tools such as Ansible, PowerShell, or REST APIs to streamline storage operations
- Provide technical consulting and best practice recommendations to internal stakeholders and customers
- Deliver documentation, including HLDs, LLDs, implementation guides, and operational runbooks
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in client engagements, workshops, and knowledge transfer session
YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO HANDLE EVERYTHING ABOVE BECAUSE YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE LIKE:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in enterprise storage, working directly with NetApp ONTAP
- Solid hands-on experience with NetApp StorageGRID, including configuration, administration, and troubleshooting
- Strong understanding of SAN/NAS protocols (NFS, SMB/CIFS, iSCSI, FC)
- Proficiency in data protection strategies including SnapMirror, SnapVault, and MetroCluster
- Experience with hybrid or multi-cloud storage integration
- Familiarity with storage monitoring and analytics tools (Active IQ, Unified Manager, Grafana, etc.)
- Strong scripting and automation knowledge (Ansible, PowerShell, Python preferred)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- NetApp certifications (e.g., NCDA, NCIE) are highly desirable
- Experience with hybrid cloud storage solutions is a plus

- Location: 50% remote 50% onsite in Toronto
