You will guide a skilled team, collaborating with optical, electrical, software, and systems experts to deliver high-performance hardware from concept to production. Drive detailed mechanical design and scalable manufacturing processes, fostering technical growth within your team.
Your Impact:
Lead the design and development of complex opto-mechanical systems for performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
Mentor a team of mechanical engineers, providing technical guidance and career development.
Own design reviews, technical roadmapping, and resource planning for mechanical and manufacturing.
Drive DFM/DFA initiatives for scalable production.
Oversee CAD modeling, tolerance analysis, documentation, BOMs, and change processes.
Partner with supply chain and vendors for quality and build consistency.
Develop assembly fixtures, test setups, and production procedures.
Support environmental testing, qualification, and deployment.
