Position Summary
The Vice President of Marketing will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy to drive brand awareness, demand generation, and customer engagement. Reporting directly to the SVP of Revenue, this role focuses on aligning marketing efforts with revenue goals and driving growth. The VP of Marketing will lead a high-performing marketing team, foster cross-functional collaboration, and implement data-driven marketing initiatives to support the company's ambitious growth objectives.

Position Summary
The Vice President of Marketing will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy to drive brand awareness, demand generation, and customer engagement. Reporting directly to the SVP of Revenue, this role focuses on aligning marketing efforts with revenue goals and driving growth. The VP of Marketing will lead a high-performing marketing team, foster cross-functional collaboration, and implement data-driven marketing initiatives to support the company's ambitious growth objectives.
What You'll Do
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Team Development and Leadership
- Mentor and manage a high-performing marketing team of 4 individuals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, career growth, and accountability.
- Ensure the team is equipped to meet dynamic market and business needs.
Strategic Leadership of the Marketing Team
- Lead a talented marketing team, fostering a vision for strategy and execution against growth goals of at least 17% annually.
- Develop and execute a marketing strategy aligned with company objectives, emphasizing market penetration, lead generation, and brand positioning.
Growth Marketing and Revenue Generation
- Define and execute growth marketing activities, including demand generation for current and prospective clients.
- Set and achieve goals for marketing-qualified and sales-qualified leads (MQLs/SQLs) to support overall company revenue objectives.
Brand Management and Positioning
- Create and implement a brand management strategy to strengthen the company's position as an industry leader.
- Ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all marketing channels.
Data-Driven Decision Making
- Monitor and report on marketing performance metrics to refine strategies and optimize results.
- Leverage data analytics to make informed decisions and measure campaign ROI.
Market Insights and Strategy
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to inform strategic decisions.
- Identify new growth opportunities to support company objectives.
Digital Marketing Execution
- Oversee digital marketing initiatives, including SEO, SEM, social media, and content marketing, to maximize online presence and engagement.
Collaboration with Sales
- Partner with the sales team to align on target personas, messaging, and campaign support.
- Ensure seamless handoff of qualified leads from marketing to sales.
Budget Management
- Own and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to achieve strategic priorities.
Customer Lifecycle Ownership
- Own the communication plan and coordination for the entirety of the customer lifecycle.
- Analyze and execute a CapDB assessment for growth opportunities resulting in an estimated $1,000,000 in ARR
Product Marketing
- Own and drive product marketing strategy, ensuring clear positioning, messaging, and go-to-market execution that aligns with customer needs and differentiates us in the market
Education & Experience
Required;
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in marketing leadership roles, preferably in healthcare, SaaS, or related industries.
- Proven track record of driving consistent revenue growth through marketing strategies.
- Expertise in demand generation, digital marketing, and brand development.
- Strong analytical skills with a data-driven mindset to measure and optimize performance.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and align cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce).
- Experience managing and developing high-performing teams in a high-growth environment.
