American Express' Global Advertising & Brand Management (GABM) team is responsible for creating marketplace demand and driving commerce for American Express through differentiated and innovative branding, marketing and experiences. The team partners with a variety of third parties including agencies and vendors that support the delivery of these innovative brand moments and experiences.
The Senior Manager, Process Strategy, Enablement & Governance, will lead the development, standardizing, documenting and improving of processes that serve as the foundation for various key workstreams across GABM. The colleague will advise business colleagues across GABM to ensure new projects, programs and benefit enhancements are developed in the right way with consideration for American Express Policies and risks that should be contemplated as part of insights development, planning, marketing & advertising execution. The colleague will also be responsible for developing the GABM colleague learning agenda and curriculum and training colleagues on critical standard marketing operations and processes across the team. The colleague will be a liaison with Control Management and will act as PMO for GABM wide audit and compliance initiatives.

Salary Range: $80,000.00 to $155,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits

- GABM/Marketing Process Development, Evaluation and Standardization
- New project/program evaluation and advisory
- PRSA, SOP & ORE advisory for business leaders
- Communication strategy development & dissemination of the GABM COE Guidelines
- Ensure GABM's adherence to American Express Policies and corresponding program management - i.e. Complaints, Record Retention, Digital Accessibility, Artificial Intelligence, etc.
- Project manage Audit & Compliance related initiatives
- Establishment of GABM Colleague learning curriculum; facilitate colleague training on centralized GABM processes
Preferred Qualifications
- Strategic, big-picture problem solver with strong business acumen and high degree of creativity.
- Resourceful self-starter who thrives in ambiguity; Ability to create structured outputs from white space questions
- Accomplished communicator and storyteller with the ability to understand the audience, structure effective presentations, and relate complex policies to business initiatives in a palatable way
- Strong PowerPoint Skills
- Ability to partner effectively with business leaders and devise solutions to complex business challenges
- Proven relationship-builder with strong consultative and collaborative skills
- Strong project management skills with consistent record of successfully achieving results on complex, large-scale, cross-functional initiatives
- Direct or adjacent management Consulting experience
