Purpose: The Manager, Competitive Intelligence, Insights & Analytics helps shape oncology pipeline strategies through gathering and analyzing competitive insights, assessing emerging targets/MOAs and understanding of competitors' strategies and tactics for clinical development and commercialization. This role will also be responsible for leading and delivering key strategic insights to support decision making through primary and secondary market research, forecasting and analytics in collaboration with other team members of GCI GU organization. The role serves as the "voice of the customer" and translate "customer learning" into actionable recommendations based on key insights.
You will be responsible for:
Help shape the strategy of the Disease Area Stronghold and the strategy of pipeline products through competitive insights:
Support the exploration/assessment of new opportunities
Lead competitive intelligence gathering, interpretation, and communication during key scientific congresses
Conduct primary and secondary market research, forecasting & various analytics, to supplement competitive insights and integrate for better understanding of the evolving disease and treatment landscape, target product profiles and to inform commercial opportunity assessment.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $100,000 to $172,500.
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.

- Track development progress of competitors, ex. trial design, timeline, recruiting status, data readout
- Gain insights in the go to market model and commercial strategy and tactics of competitors
- Interpret the competitive information to derive implications and form recommendations. Align cross key stakeholders and communicate timely across the organization
- Lead competitive scenario planning
Support the exploration/assessment of new opportunities
- Monitor the landscape, track the emerging targets/MOAs for potential opportunities
- Help conduct due diligence of early-stage opportunities.
- Inform TPP and Forecast with in-depth understanding of the competitive landscape
Lead competitive intelligence gathering, interpretation, and communication during key scientific congresses
- Develop coordinated plan (playbooks) with comprehensive summary of key abstracts/posters/presentations and intelligence objectives
- Lead team debriefs in coordination with cross functional/cross region partners
- Timely communications across the organization
- Expect travel to 3-4 conferences each year

- Collaborate with regional teams to share resources and learnings and maintain alignment of understanding.
- Lead regular commercial insights reviews to ensure the organization has a strong understanding and perspective of the emerging science in prioritized disease areas as well as market evolution

Qualifications / Requirements:
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree and 5 years of progressive business experience or Advanced degree (MSc, MBA, PhD, PharmD etc) and a minimum of 3 years of progressive business experience in relevant areas such as Market Research, Forecasting, Competitive Intelligence, Commercial/Business insights and analytics, Data analytics, Quantitative Sciences, Business Analytics, Business Development, Marketing, Consulting or similar agency experience
- Experience in oncology is preferred.
