The Technical Support Advisor will have the responsibility of working with the technical services and product management teams to provide technical after sales service to HVAC-R technicians and to proactively help deliver training to customers and staff. This person will provide support to partners in Western Canada. This position is a hybrid role and can be based in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia. Ability to travel is a requirement of this position.
What you will accomplish with us:
Provide local tech support assistance for our factory partner brands.
Assist customers in trouble shooting of our HVAC&R equipment brands. This assistance will be provided through phone, video conference and when required travel to job sites.
Help resolve technical issues processing of special labor and material claims between contractor, Master Group and the manufacturer partners.
Facilitate start-ups of HVAC and VRF equipment.
Act as technical resource to the Master Group sales teams.
Prepare and provide technical training and fulfill the objectives given by the product management director.
To professionally represent Master Group Inc's best interest at all times when interacting with internal teams, external customers and building owners.
What You Bring to Our Team:
Excellent problem solving skills.
Technical institute or college diploma in the HVAC-R or related field.
Minimum of 5 to 10 years of field experience in the HVAC-R industry.
Trouble shooting mechanical HVAC-R equipment and controls.
Proficiency with computers and a moderate to advanced knowledge of MS Office and manufacturer based software.
Working in a dynamic Team group.
Ability to work under pressure.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Takes initiative and is resourceful.
Functioning in a fast-paced environment requiring timeliness.
Fundamental or advanced understanding of electrical wiring schematics.
Basic ability to read building mechanical plans and specifications.
Professionalism, diplomacy and courtesy.
Proficient at writing reports.
At ease presenting to people on technical and training material.
Valid driver's license.
Compensation Information:
Base Salary Range: $70,000 - $95,000 annually
Supplemental Pay Types Include: annual bonus
