We are looking for an individual with strong technical experience in networking and wireless technologies to manage our technology infrastructure. This position also requires advanced IT software and hardware support knowledge and experience to support the PetroCard IT Helpdesk
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the management of all network infrastructure including SD-WAN, LAN, firewall, routers, and switches in both on-premise and cloud (AWS) environments.
- Manage cellular wireless technologies (4G/5G) with working knowledge of modems, SIM cards, and programming hand-held devices.
- Manage and support the organization's information security efforts, especially as it pertains to network design, firewall management, and best practices.
- Manage and support disaster recovery and business continuity planning, design and implementation especially as it pertains to network communications and security
- Manage and monitor virtual server and cloud/host mixed environment.
- Perform general end-user desktop support including occasional travel to regional sites.
- Communicate effectively to end users and corporate leadership using non-IT terms.
- Contributes to 24x7 on call rotation within the IT department.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer or related field and a minimum 5 years related experience/training OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5 or more years of experience as team lead.
- Hands-on experience designing, installing, and configuring network infrastructure especially devices made by Cisco, Juniper, Ubiquiti, WatchGuard and CradlePoint
- Extensive experience configuring and managing software and hardware related to VPN, LANs, WANs, firewall, switches, wireless access points and cellular networks
- Experience managing on-prem/external cloud mixed environment including Active Directory, M365, AWS EC2, and AWS Elastic Disaster Recovery.
- Experience managing and supporting the organization's information security efforts.
- Demonstrated problem-solving, creative thinking, and communication skills.
- Must be willing to work occasional additional hours on weekends or occasional evening hours when needed.
- CCNA, CCNP, AWS or other certifications are a plus
