Citibank, N.A. seeks a Credit Risk Senior Analyst for its Irving, Texas location.
Duties: Conduct fundamental credit analysis using quantitative and qualitative factors to assess the financial strength of clients. Ensure appropriate regulatory classification, minimize net credit losses, and identify emerging areas of concerns for covered portfolio. Work with Independent Risk team to support accountable credit approval decisioning. Analyze new and existing credit requests, and process the underwriting workflow, including pre-screening, amendments and extensions, annual reviews, and diligence related to other credit requests. Financial statements analysis. Perform company performance analysis. Responsible for loan documentation process of new transactions, amendments, and modifications. Coordinate with internal partners and outside legal counsel to ensure that credit approval terms and conditions are appropriately represented in closing documents. Industry reports analysis. Conduct client calls on portfolio clients and select new to bank opportunities with Relationship Manager. Recommend changes to improve existing processes to achieve greater efficiency and controls. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.
Requirements: Requires a Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Finance, Accounting, Mathematical Finance, or related field and 2 years of experience as a Credit Portfolio Analyst, Credit Risk Analyst, Accountant, Graduate Teaching & Research Assistant or related position involving credit risk analysis and controls in the global financial services industry. Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in the stated fields and 5 years of the specified progressive, post-baccalaureate experience. 2 years of experience must include: Credit risk assessment; Financial statements analysis; Company performance analysis; Industry reports analysis; Portfolio management; Stress testing; and Accounting principles.
