Location: Rochester, New York, United States
Schedule: 9/80 (Employees work 80 hours over 9 days and get every other Friday off)
Compensation: $61,500 - $121,500 (Base Salary Range)
Overview:
A confidential industry-leading organization is seeking a Specialist in Integrated Logistics Support Engineering to join its team. This role is focused on delivering lifecycle maintenance solutions for both external (military, civilian, international) and internal customers. You'll become a subject matter expert (SME) in the maintainability and support of tactical communications systems, including radios and satellite equipment.
As an ILS Analyst, you'll leverage data-driven tools and methodologies to create custom spares lists, conduct hardware provisioning, perform maintainability and maintenance task analyses (MTA), and develop Integrated Logistics Support Plans (ILSPs), among other essential deliverables. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams-including engineering, product management, and technical writing-to ensure customer-focused, accurate, and efficient support solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver ILS data, plans, and reports aligned with contract and customer requirements
- Collaborate across departments to interpret and enhance ILS processes
- Recommend improvements to systems and workflows
- Manage logistics-related projects with moderate impact and general supervision
- Interface with both internal teams and external clients to communicate findings and recommendations
- Contribute to the development of Intermediate Maintenance Manuals and other support documents
- Maintain eligibility for U.S. Secret-level security clearance
- Bachelor's degree and at least 4 years of relevant ILS experience, or
- Graduate degree and at least 2 years of experience, or
- In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 8 years of prior related ILS experience
- Prior experience in Integrated Logistics Support or radio/electronics maintenance
- Familiarity with tactical communication systems and satellite terminals
- Understanding of RCM tasks, provisioning, MAC/MTA, LORA, and ILSP development
- Lean Six Sigma certification or related continuous improvement experience
- Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large datasets
- Strong communication skills for report writing and customer presentations
- Experience using business intelligence tools such as Power BI
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with engineering and support teams
- Strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset
