JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITIONSUMMARY:

Overall responsibility to include overseeing the quality,budget and scheduled delivery of assigned project assigned by the Head ofProduction. Requires cohesive coordination and communication with Head ofProduction/Maintenance, Head of Engineering, and PMO departments to ensure thatdelivery targets are aligned with the overall delivery plan for each aircraft.The Delivery Manager will be focused on continuous improvement to driveexcellence in execution, accountability, and recognition. Lead by example,ensure the Aircraft delivery is to Comlux expected standards I.A.W. Comluxoperating procedures and policy.

ESSENTIALJOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Support the development of department specific reports such as aircraft delivery schedule and manpower requirements, broken down by delivery plans.
  • Conduct scheduled meetings with team members to support, monitor and track the delivery phase to include testing, conformity, and white glove inspection.
  • Verify that all materials, equipment, documentation, and labor necessary to achieve established delivery targets are always available to the Head of Production, Head of Engineering, and PMO.
  • Ensure the required engineering documentation, work instructions, QC 1001, and IOPs are available, and work scopes are being performed to documentation.
  • Plan/ Assign the work scope and milestones then execute timeline for the delivery of project.
  • Promote a 'See Something Say Something' culture as part of a safety management system
  • Responsible for early identification and tracking of critical path/mass activities, and appropriate escalation to resolve and unblock engineering, material or other constraints
  • Monitor delivery inputs and metrics/ deliverables to minimize risk and maintain schedule adherence
  • Monitor and report performance efficiency/ earned value to ensure overall project plan is maintained within delivery schedule and budget plan and be proactive to reduce risks.
  • Maintain a risk and opportunity register and road map to project and mitigate long term deviations to scope and budget
  • Lead project closure sessions to evaluate the success and opportunity points for continuous improvement
  • Work with Warranty and Commitment on remaining items post delivery.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION,EXPERIENCE, LICENSES, ETC:
  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of high-end VIP aircraft interiors and components to include the fabrication, installation, removal and repair.
  • 8+ years in a completion/production environment, 5+ years in progressive leadership roles.
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering documentation.


  • REQUIREDSKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • Proficient knowledge in scheduling, overseeing project thru completion.
  • Strong knowledge of FAA requirements for aircraft Interiors.
  • Working knowledge of lean or other continuous improvement opportunity techniques.
  • Be a champion of safe working environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate a team.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Must be an effective communicator both verbally and in writing.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English
  • Ability to communicate in an assertive yet professional, motivating and tactful manner.
  • Working knowledge of computers and related software.
  • Willing to travel domestically and internationally when required.
