Location: Greer Family Dental Care, Greer, SC
Schedule: Tuesday - Friday, 7:30 AM to end of day (usually between 5:00 PM and 5:30 PM)

This full-time position is perfect for new graduates, though some experience is preferred. We value team players who are open-minded, confident in their skills, yet humble enough to learn new techniques and adapt to different doctors.

Responsibilities:
- Perform dental cleanings and prophylaxis
- Conduct oral health assessments and screenings
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices
- Assist in the diagnosis and treatment planning for patients
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Collaborate with dentists and other team members to provide exceptional patient care
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Be open to feedback and coaching, and willing to jump in and help as needed
Qualifications:
- Degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure as a Dental Hygienist
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience with Dentrix software is a plus
- Confidence in your skills with a humble approach to learning
- Goal-oriented and solution-focused mindset
- Flexible and open-minded attitude

Qualifications:
- Current dental hygienist license
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
Preferred Experience
- Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
- Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
- Clinical needs as required by office
- Completion of Tuberculosis (TB) testing prior to starting employment
