Day to Day task include:
- Design web services and applications
- Research and document technical designs
- Program solutions based on technical and business requirements
- Provide customer technical support
- Develop unit tests and testing processes independently
- Ensure applications conform to business requirements
- Implement change management processes
- Manage the release management process, including:
- Testing
- Promoting
- Releasing applications through the development environment
- Guide code critique sessions
- Oversee development of technical design documentation
- Lead database design and development
- Lead user-interface enhancements
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requested Qualifications:
- 84 months of experience in the design, implementation and deployment of web applications, single page front end applications, REST backends.
- 84 months of experience designing and building cloud native and hybrid applications in AWS.
- 84 months of experience with data processing, ETL and analysis with Python using libraries Pandas, Numpy.
- 84 months of experience in design, implementation and deployment of system-to-system applications using REST APIs, REST Clients, Spring security.
- 60 months of experience with relational and NoSQL databases, Oracle, Postgres, DynamoDB.
- 60 months of experience in programming public sector government IT projects
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or Information Technology from an accredited institution
Work hours and location:
- Full time role with engagement length of 30 months
- Daily work hours: 8-4:30 with half hour lunch, negotiable
- Physical office location: 800 North Pearl, Menands NY 12204
- Telecommuting options: 50%
