Sr Analyst, Strategic Finance

Founders Table Restaurant Group, owner of Chopt Creative Salad Company and Dos Toros Taqueria, is a market-leader in the fast casual space, with over 90 restaurants across the East Coast.

The Sr Analyst, Strategic Finance will serve as a key strategic and financial resource for our team and perform high-impact analyses of business results -- including identifying trends, variances, and potential opportunities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Build out the financial planning and analysis function
• Analyze day-to-day business performance to identify insights and root causes, and work with business leaders to make recommendations
• Help us understand the expected financial impact of new opportunities and initiatives
• Oversee the operating and capital budgeting processes; work closely with senior leaders to help them understand financial performance
• Manage financial reporting to board, lenders, and senior leadership
• Direct and perform ad hoc financial analyses for the CFO (as needed)

• Ability to think strategically and practical sense of how to cut to the core issues / analysis
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to tailor based on audience and present confidently and cohesively.
• Well organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to partner with a range of cross functional partners, some of whom will have limited financial knowledge.
• Ability to work independently with little direct supervision.
• Deep expertise in MS Excel (including building dynamic financial models) and PowerPoint.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least 5 years of FP&A experience
• P&L Management Experience
• Strong Leadership Experience
• Degree in Finance or Accounting preferred
• Retail or hospitality industry experience preferred
• Experience in banking or consulting preferred
