As a Risk & Compliance Learning Manager, you will develop and implement comprehensive risk & compliance training and awareness programs to reduce enterprise risk. You will manage elements of various human-centric, continuous education programs, including information security, data privacy, ethics, safety, fraud and other compliance functions. In this role, you will work cross-functionally to align learning initiatives with regulatory requirements and strategic business outcomes. In addition, this role uses change management skills and creative content creation to deliver meaningful learning experiences to educate and enable employees to do the right thing. Reducing human risk and fostering an ethical culture enables Best Buy to deliver on our promises to our customers, employees, and shareholders.
This role is remote eligible, which means you would work virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location.

What you'll do
- Work collaboratively to lead, develop and implement training and awareness initiatives aligned to Best Buy's compliance portfolio; audiences include enterprise-wide, targeted risk audiences and global groups.
- Draft communications content tailored to various audiences for internal awareness campaigns, plan engagement activities, facilitate speakers and support in-person events.
- Gather and analyze data to measure training and awareness effectiveness and communicate engagement, behavior change, impact and areas of risk to cross-functional partners and leadership.
- Provide reporting and required training and communication materials to satisfy audits, legal requirements and investigative requests; regulatory requirements and agencies include but are not limited to SOX, PCI, CPNI, HIPAA, HISTRUST and OSHA.
- Research and benchmark to gather best practices and identify progression points to continually mature programs.
- 3 years of experience building business or learning strategies
- 3 years of experience in developing and implementing learning and communication content leveraging a human-centered design approach
- 3 years of experience managing projects with cross functional partners
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills and the ability to translate complex topics into simple, everyday language
- Strong data analytics and data storytelling skills
- Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in a related field (business, cybersecurity, legal, communications, education, marketing).
- Experience in developing and implementing compliance or information security learning and communication content.
- Familiarity with various compliance areas and frameworks, (e.g., Elements of an Effective Compliance Program, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, SOX, HITRUST, HIPAA, CPNI, environmental compliance, safety compliance, ethics, fraud, etc.)
