KPMG is currently seeking an Associate Director, Strategic Experience Delivery to join our Events and Meetings organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Act as a strategic business partner, collaborating with stakeholders to oversee and deliver innovative meetings, events, and learning programs; leverage technology and branding to anticipate needs and create exceptional participant experiences; implement a client-oriented approach to ensure successful end-to-end meeting delivery while supporting business objectives
  • Lead and integrate a team of events and meetings professionals to execute client-facing and internal programs; oversee program assignments, project timelines, budget approvals, program design, agenda curation, conflict resolution, off-site event contracting, on-site logistics, and meeting collaterals
  • Set performance goals and provide ongoing feedback and guidance on job performance, career development, and matching capabilities with development opportunities to foster continuous improvement, increase engagement, and pride among counselees; model integrity, poise, leadership, and embody the firm's values
  • Lead and manage programs by overseeing planning efforts, cultivating strong stakeholder relationships, and ensuring successful execution of high-profile, complex initiatives; enhance the firm's meetings and events by delivering differentiated experiences, incorporating immersive Lakehouse elements
  • Utilize data to develop insights that inform and guide recommendations and delivery for team professional development opportunities, strategic process evaluation, tool/resource development, and team growth opportunities

Qualifications:
  • Minimum eight years of recent experience in events and meeting strategy and planning within a professional services firm; Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) or Certified Meeting Manager (CMM) certificate is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
  • Proven track record in developing key stakeholder relationships as a trusted advisor
  • Experience as an impactful people leader; ability to lead, mentor and develop high performing team members; skilled in fostering a collaborative work environment, setting clear goals, providing constructive feedback, driving employee engagement to achieve organizational objectives and supporting professional growth
  • Ability to lead by example, be value-driven in interactions and use strong professional judgment to resolve issues
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; Cvent and AI experience is preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, analytical, and presentation skills to lead to a customer service and teamwork-driven environment; ability to set goals, participate in strategic initiatives, foster high-performance teams, interface with all organizational levels, and influence resource plans and organizational priorities
