Develops quality assurance programs and oversees compliance documentation. Creates SOPs and training materials, conducts audits, and reports safety and compliance metrics to senior management. Job Responsibilities:
- Performs as a lead resource for assigned area of responsibility. Provides subject matter expertise on a wide array of topics, initiatives and projects advising on federal and state laws as appropriate.
- Develops and maintains positive relationships with vendors and/or clients, educates and participates in training of internal and external customers on new company initiatives and programs.
- Manages the analysis, design, development and implementation of systems and processes to increase productivity and minimize costs.
- Collaborates with Walgreen departments to review and define new programs impacting the department to ensure compliance to Walgreens policies.
- Identifies process improvements based on strategy and leading industry practices to ensure continuous improvement. Coordinates internal controls and evaluates procedural changes, while driving compliance and cooperation with internal and external audit activities. Recommends systems and process improvements and changes to WAG procedures and policies.
- Manages, monitors and develops testing requirements department programs and initiatives. Identifies and communicate systems or training deficiencies.
- Coordinates resources and timeline of new pilot programs. Provides status updates and drive project execution.
- Develops and maintains productive customer and staff relationships; becomes a trusted and valued partner that is viewed as a resource for department expertise. Mentors, coaches less experienced team members.
- May or may not manage a team of people.

External Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years' experience in Finance/Accounting/Business, or High School Degree/GED and at least 5 years' experience in Finance/Accounting/Business.
- Experience in project management
- Experience analyzing data on multiple platforms including but not limited to Access, Oracle, Mainframe and AS400".
- At least 1 year of direct leadership, indirect leadership and/or cross functional team leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree or MBA.
- Experience in a central fill pharmacy, large-scale retail pharmacy, or fulfillment center operations with a focus on regulatory compliance and patient safety.
- Background in developing, monitoring, and enforcing policies; and executing healthcare operational strategies, particularly those involving patient safety and regulatory compliance.
- Familiarity with compliance requirements and standards set by healthcare regulatory bodies such as the FDA, DEA, and state Boards of Pharmacy.
- Intermediate skills in PowerBI and SharePoint for reporting and tracking safety/compliance metrics.
- Experience querying databases (e.g., SQL, SAS, or similar platforms) to enhance data analysis and compliance reporting.
- Experience with project management (for example: planning, organizing, and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of specific project goals and objectives).
- Experience with external vendor management.
