Senior-Level Information Systems Engineer

  • At least 8 years of experience as Information Systems Engineers within complex DoD environments.
  • Specialized expertise in enterprise-level compute, storage, and backup solutions, while adhering to stringent cybersecurity standards.
  • Minimum 8 years of documented experience performing Systems Engineering Processes including Requirements Tradeoffs, Cost Estimation, Technical Assessments, Technical Planning, Configuration Control Boards, Capabilities Based Assessments, Lifecycle Sustainment Planning, Information Assurance/Cybersecurity, Requirements Traceability, Systems Engineering Plans, Work Breakdown Structures, and Technical Audits.
  • At least one year of training or experience designing, deploying, and maintaining systems compliant with DoD Cybersecurity Policies (e.g., DoD 8500 Series Directives, DoD 8100 Series Directives, CNSSI 1253).
  • Demonstrated senior-level expertise creating, modernizing, and integrating Enterprise-wide Compute, Storage, and Backup Solutions, using Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) and Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) Strategies.

Location

Must be located in the Nebraska Region (within commuting distance of USSTRATCOM, Building 1000, Offutt AFB, NE) as all work will be performed on site.

Certifications

Candidates will maintain at least one relevant intermediate or higher-level certification:

  • CompTIA Server+
  • INCOSE ASEP
  • Microsoft Certified Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate
  • Storage Networking Industry Association (SNIA) Certified Storage Networking Expert

Education

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or relevant engineering disciplines

Clearance

  • Active Top Secret (TS)/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Security Clearances, ready for immediate deployment to support sensitive USSTRATCOM/J61 Mission Requirements.
