Position Summary

The IT Manager is a specialized role responsible for the management, maintenance, and optimization of all IT systems supporting food and beverage operations within Amalie Arena. This position ensures the smooth and efficient operation of point-of-sale (POS) systems, inventory management software, digital menu boards, and other related technologies, critical to delivering a seamless guest experience.The Information Technology Manager is responsible for installation and maintenance of hardware, software, and peripherals for location technology functions on a day-to-day basis as well as providing support to event-specific IT needs.

This role pays an annual salary of $90,000-$95,000 and is bonus eligible.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of all POS systems throughout the stadium's food and beverage concessions, restaurants, and premium suites.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve POS system issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring accurate transaction processing.
  • Manage POS system updates and upgrades, ensuring compatibility and security.
  • Manage and maintain inventory management software, ensuring accurate tracking of food and beverage supplies.
  • Support the integration of inventory systems with POS systems and other relevant platforms.
  • Assist in the implementation of technology solutions to optimize food and beverage supply chain efficiency.
  • Manage and maintain digital menu boards and displays, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Coordinate with food and beverage operations to update menu content and pricing.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with digital display systems.
  • Provide timely and effective technical support to food and beverage staff, addressing hardware and software issues.
  • Train food and beverage staff on the use of relevant IT systems.
  • Maintain clear and accurate documentation of IT support activities.
  • Provide on-site IT support during stadium events, ensuring the reliable operation of food and beverage systems.
  • Coordinate with food and beverage operations to ensure seamless technology integration for special events.
  • Ensure the security of food and beverage IT systems, implementing and maintaining appropriate security measures.
  • Ensure compliance with payment card industry (PCI) standards and other relevant regulations.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT management, with a focus on POS systems and food and beverage technology.
  • Strong knowledge of POS systems, inventory management software, and digital signage.
  • Experience with network infrastructure and IT security.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, event-driven environment.
