Pay Range: $76,000 - $109,000
Job Summary: Responsible for the administration of Tier 3 Cloud-based and on-premise Windows server hardware, operating system, services and supporting layered software environment in order to maintain uptime and data integrity. This includes:
This position will report to the Manager of Systems and will be responsible for being a primary resource in our Change Impact Committee (CIC) meetings.
This individual will also be responsible for proposing, developing and improving upon our existing Azure Cloud and Wintel posture as it relates to patching, monitoring, performance, system integration(s), automation and high availability.
What You'll Do (Essential Duties and Responsibilities):
Responsible for administering AD, Entra, and Azure Cloud related systems, services and activities in harmony with documented guidelines and procedures and to help develop such should S.O.P.'s not exist. These would include the administration of tenants, subscriptions, services, accounts, group policy management, applying permissions, etc. Also, this individual will be working closely with our domestic and international teams to define best practices for our environment that should be implemented based on the existing technical ecosystem and business risks and requirements.
Works the systems architects and engineers in the TempurSealy environment to determine the best O/S configurations and upgrade paths, hardware optimizations and tuning, security hardening based on internal and CIS/CAT industry standards, etc. Assists in analysis of the risk vs. reward elements relating to compatibility, technical and human resource availability, threat posture, level of effort and all other pertinent data to provide the most suitable options for the O/S roadmap
Assists in implementing the hosted application environment that an application or service should be hosted on. Considerations regarding system integration(s), virtualization, Citrix Netscaler, Citrix Presentation, Remote Desktop Services (RDS), application performance monitoring, thresholds and capacity planning should all be examined to ensure the most efficient user experience for a given application requirement.
Understand, administer and implement opportunities for automation and high availability (HA) so that our environment operates as smoothly and transparently as possible. Use system inherent and third-party tools and scripting languages to provide system driven reactions to events and alerts that enable hands-free responses to defined criteria. Leverage industry standard services such as Windows inherent clustering technologies and/or third-party HA appliances (F5) to provide robust solutions for an optimized user experience as well as down-time avoidance.

- Windows Server Operating Systems including installation, maintenance, backup & recovery, capacity management, problem management, disaster recovery, SOP development, security, and patching
- Hardware support of the Intel based server environment (Cisco UCS and Hewlett Packard) including installation, upgrades, patching and break-fix
- Administration and support of the virtual and cloud server environment including Microsoft's Hyper-V technologies, Azure Cloud Services and presentation layer services such as Citrix and RDS.
- Support the needs of internal Data Centers as it applies to racking, system specification monitoring and management
- Knowledge of PowerShell, WSUS, Tanium, SCOM/SCCM, SNMP and WMI monitoring strongly desired
