What You'll Do
- Lead HR strategy and operations across North Carolina, Virginia, and future regions.
- Build scalable HR systems, processes, and policies for field and administrative teams.
- Oversee the full employee lifecycle: recruiting, onboarding, retention, development, and performance.
- Manage cultural alignment and compliance during M&A integration.
- Partner with senior leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, and change management.
- Maintain compliance across multiple states and reinforce a culture of safety, equity, and accountability.
- Supervise compensation, benefits, HRIS, and bilingual employee relations.
What You Bring
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience; 5+ in HR leadership with multi-site or field-based teams.
- A willingness to work directly with our branch and field teams out of the office and hands on. This is a role that directly interacts with people in coaching, mentoring and policy compliance.
- Experience in high-growth, operations-driven environments (landscaping, construction, hospitality, logistics, etc.).
- Hands-on experience building or transforming HR systems, processes, and infrastructure.
- Familiarity with post-acquisition integration preferred.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws across multiple states.
- HRIS and data reporting expertise (e.g., BambooHR, ADP, Paycom).
- Certifications: (SHRM-SCP or SPHR) and/or advanced degree preferred.
- Travel: Up to 25% travel between regions
