As we scale across the Southeast through both organic growth and acquisitions, we're hiring a Director of Human Resources to build and lead a people strategy that supports our expanding footprint, strengthens our culture, and helps shape the future of our company.

What You'll Do
  • Lead HR strategy and operations across North Carolina, Virginia, and future regions.
  • Build scalable HR systems, processes, and policies for field and administrative teams.
  • Oversee the full employee lifecycle: recruiting, onboarding, retention, development, and performance.
  • Manage cultural alignment and compliance during M&A integration.
  • Partner with senior leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, and change management.
  • Maintain compliance across multiple states and reinforce a culture of safety, equity, and accountability.
  • Supervise compensation, benefits, HRIS, and bilingual employee relations.


What You Bring
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience; 5+ in HR leadership with multi-site or field-based teams.
  • A willingness to work directly with our branch and field teams out of the office and hands on. This is a role that directly interacts with people in coaching, mentoring and policy compliance.
  • Experience in high-growth, operations-driven environments (landscaping, construction, hospitality, logistics, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience building or transforming HR systems, processes, and infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with post-acquisition integration preferred.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws across multiple states.
  • HRIS and data reporting expertise (e.g., BambooHR, ADP, Paycom).
  • Certifications: (SHRM-SCP or SPHR) and/or advanced degree preferred.
  • Travel: Up to 25% travel between regions
