Join a global leader in Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG) design, fabrication, equipment, and solutions for the power industry. We're seeking a dynamic Manager of Quality Control to ensure our high standards are met across all operations.
In this pivotal role, reporting to the Director of Supply Management, you'll safeguard our quality by analyzing systems, interpreting third-party assessments, and leading our talented Quality Department (including quality and welding engineers and assistants). You'll drive continuous improvement, foster strong supplier relationships, and ensure our certifications remain current. This is an opportunity to build a high-performing team, engage with industry advancements, and contribute directly to our success. Expect occasional travel (5-10%) as business needs dictate.

Your Day-to-Day:
- Lead and develop the Quality Department, setting clear goals and fostering a collaborative environment.
- Oversee the Source Inspection process to minimize fabrication errors and associated costs.
- Champion the resolution of quality issues with suppliers and implement systemic improvements.
- Supervise the execution of our Quality Plan and maintain essential certifications.
- Develop new quality requirements aligned with company objectives and cultivate strong customer relationships.
- Collaborate proactively with department heads to build a high-performance culture.
- Engage with industry organizations to stay informed and influence quality standards.
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (equivalent experience considered).
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in quality control within heavy industry, manufacturing, construction, welding, non-destructive testing, and familiarity with ASME Sections I & VIII.
- At least 3 years of experience successfully leading and managing engineering teams.
- Exceptional time management, organizational, and both written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to analyze data, solve problems, make sound decisions, and communicate effectively.
- A highly professional, organized, and trustworthy team-oriented approach.
