Job Title: Fabrication Engineer

Job Description
As a Fabrication Engineer, you will play a crucial role in optimizing production processes to ensure high-quality, cost-effective manufacturing of metal components. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and refining manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality. Your expertise will drive continuous improvement initiatives and support our commitment to delivering superior metal products to customers. This is a rewarding position in a fast-paced work environment where safety, quality, delivery, and customer service are top priorities. This is a full-time, onsite position.
Responsibilities
  • Design and implement manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Refine and optimize production processes to improve product quality.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support the production of high-quality metal components.
  • Collaborate with a diverse team to achieve production goals.
  • Present and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Essential Skills
  • Experience working in a job shop environment.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks 3D modeling or similar 3D modeling software with an emphasis on sheet metal processing.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • CNC programming skills.
  • 5+ years of experience in fabrication, including lasers, CNC turret punch press, spot-welding, rolling, forming/press brakes, MIG & TIG welding, and assembly.
  • Strong understanding of metalworking processes, equipment, and materials.
  • Experience as a Fabrication Engineer in contract manufacturing.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Process certifications, such as a Six Sigma belt, are preferred but not required.
  • Hardworking, high-energy , results-oriented individual.
  • Ability to speak and present to all members of an organization.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multicultural and diverse team.

Work Environment
This position is based in a fast-paced, full-time, onsite work environment. You will be working with advanced fabrication technologies and equipment, ensuring safety, quality, and customer service are upheld. The role requires effective collaboration with various departments and senior managers.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $36.06 - $48.08/hr.
