The Mortgage Fulfillment Manager acts as a key contributor in workflow management, new initiatives, process development and culture building. As the Mortgage Fulfillment Manager, you will monitor workflows and queues to ensure service levels are met, develop process improvements or actively seek methods to streamline business processes and manage and set goals for a team.
The Mortgage Fulfillment Manager will:
- Examining property titles: Looking at title documents and public records to identify issues that could affect the title
- Resolving title issues: Working with attorneys, lenders, and other parties to resolve issues like liens, judgments, tax issues, and more
- Communicating with clients: Keeping clients updated on the status of title clearance and addressing any inquiries they may have
- Meeting deadlines: Ensuring that files are reviewed and cleared in a timely manner
- Managing vendors: Managing the productivity of outside title curative vendors and legal counsel
- Ensuring compliance: Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Daily/weekly reporting
- Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization's desired culture and values
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of relevant mortgage experience preferred
- Knowledge of title searches, title examination, and lien clearance in multiple states
- Effective organizational, follow-uip, and time-managment skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, persuasive, negotiating, and relationship-building abilities
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Encompass Knowledge not required but a plus
- Advance knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint)
