Abound Health is seeking a Director of Revenue Cycle Management to join our Star Pediatrics division. In this role, you will report to the Vice President of Operations. This key leadership position is responsible for overseeing all billing and revenue cycle operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. You'll work cross-functionally with clinical, administrative, and finance teams to improve collections, streamline processes, and reduce billing errors. This role is remote and must be willing to work East Coast time zone.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all aspects of billing, including authorization data entry, denial prevention, invoicing, payment processing, and account reconciliation.
  • Establish KPIs to monitor and improve billing efficiency and process improvement.
  • Lead, mentor, and coach the billing team, fostering professional growth and accountability.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for clinical staff regarding billing inquiries and coordinate issue resolution.
  • Evaluate and present reports on accounts receivable, collections, and key performance metrics, providing actionable insights to senior leadership.
  • Continuously assess and improve billing procedures; maintain and update SOPs in collaboration with leadership.
  • Ensure all billing operations remain audit-ready and compliant with regulatory standards.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in billing or revenue cycle management, with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare billing and coding processes.
  • Strong leadership, mentoring, and team management skills.
  • Proficiency in billing and EHR systems
  • Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and drive continuous improvement.

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field required.

Compensation & Benefits:

Base pay is determined by factors such as work location, experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. In addition to base pay, total compensation may include various other forms of pay. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive health, dental, and wellness benefits, which begin on your 60th day of employment.
