Job Title: Chief Administrative Officer (CAO)
Location: Greensboro, NC

Reports To: CEO

We are seeking a dynamic, organized team leader to oversee important company operations as its Chief Administrative Officer (CAO). As a key member of the executive team, the CAO will be responsible for collaborating with other leadership to drive operational excellence, optimize efficiencies, and ensure alignment between day-to- day operations and long-term strategic goals. The position requires strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage core operational functions, including human resources, marketing, safety, facilities, assimilation of newly acquired companies, cross-company initiatives, quality assurance, and other assigned tasks.
  • Design and implement business strategies, plans, and procedures that align with company objectives.
  • Establish performance metrics and ensure accountability across departments.
  • Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to set comprehensive goals for performance and growth.
  • Oversee budgeting, reporting, and resource allocation for all departments falling under the CAO's direction.
  • Drive organizational culture, promoting high performance, integrity, and innovation.
  • Identify opportunities for operational efficiency and initiatives to improve productivity.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with employees, vendors, and other stakeholders.
  • Support risk management activities by identifying and mitigating potential risks to the organization.
  • Undertake those duties and initiatives assigned by the CEO.


Qualifications:
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Outstanding organizational skills.
  • Motivator with the ability to gain stakeholder buy-in to objectives.
  • Strong judgment / decision-making abilities.
  • Preferred strong understanding of business functions such as Human Resources, Marketing, Project Management, and Mergers & Acquisitions.
  • Proven competence as a cultural champion.
  • Demonstrated abilities in strategic planning.
  • Driven to seize an initiative or solve the problem.
  • Preferred proven experience as Operations Manager, Director, or similar Executive role.
  • Preferred bachelor's degree in related fields, MBA, JD, or equivalent work experience or educational background.
