As Airlink celebrates its 15th anniversary in 2025, we are looking ahead to the next five years, with annual goals that call for increasing our team by 25%, improving our organizational efficiency, and strengthening our brand. To that end, we are seeking an Operations Manager to support our growing team and ensure Airlink remains an employer of choice.
Position Summary
Reporting to the VP of Operations & Finance, the Operations Manager will oversee daily office operations, including scheduling, supply management, and vendor relations. They will also support HR functions, including hiring, on/offboarding, and benefit management.
The ideal candidate must have stellar organizational and multi-tasking skills and a service-oriented mindset. We're eager to find an Operations Manager who connects and communicates easily with people and has the adaptability needed to excel in the dynamic nature of today's workforce.

Airlink is headquartered in downtown Washington, D.C. and currently operates a hybrid work schedule with the team in-office three days a week. Given the collaborative and logistical nature of this position, we are only considering candidates in or willing to relocate to the Washington, D.C. area.
Compensation & Benefits:
The salary range for this position is $75,000 to $90,000. Additionally, Airlink provides a comprehensive benefits package including, but not limited to:

Primary Responsibilities
Office Management & Facilities
- Serve as the primary liaison with building management; submit and manage support tickets and room reservations and ensure lease compliance and building protocol.
- Monitor the office phone and e-mail inbox, directing correspondence to relevant staff.
- Manage the IT service provider; provide onsite support for printers, video conferencing devices, cell phones, etc.
- Monitor office and kitchen supplies, ordering items as needed and managing the approved operations budget.
- Guide annual state charity registration process and manage compliance service provider.
- Identify inefficiencies and implement solutions to streamline office workflows and procedures.
Human Resources
- Manage PEO system, ensuring Airlink and the team are maximizing its use and capabilities.
- Ensure HR processes and actions comply with labor laws and regulations; share relevant laws and compliance with staff.
- Support VP with hiring, onboarding and offboarding employees, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, entering/terminating employees in the PEO system, preparing employment paperwork, overseeing IT set-up/termination.
- Support VP with maintenance of standard HR documents including employee handbook, organizational chart, job descriptions, salary ranges.
- Plan and coordinate team-building activities, employee appreciation events, and educational/training sessions.
Required Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's s degree or relevant work experience + High School diploma.
- 5+ years of operations and/or HR experience - non-profit organization preferred.
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
- Adept at problem-solving and organizing.
