We are seeking to hire a qualified Functional Analyst/Testing Resource for one of our federal clients. Candidate must be a US Citizen. In this role the candidate will support the project by providing his/her expertise, guidance, consultation, and thought leadership to the client and the project team. We are looking for a candidate who has experience with federal financial management. The position requires hands-on experience in functional areas within federal government financial management.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze, plan, design and implement migration/conversion solutions as required to meet the business requirements using an Agile methodology.
- Conduct analysis on problems independently and recommend solutions
- Understand CGI's Momentum Financials ERP implementation and provide support for integrations with internal/external interface partners.
- Work independently with minimum supervision. Provide support for a CGI's Momentum ERP implementation.
- Actively conduct client interactions, set and manage stakeholder expectation.
- Identify risks, issues, find solution and plan/manage them.
- Provide functional support for conversion and integration activities.
- Provide support for system testing and user acceptance testing effort.
Required skills:
- At least 3 years of functional analysis and testing experience with federal financial application.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle, change management and configuration management processes and best practices.
- Familiarity with requirements, as it relates to new interfaces, conversion, and data cleanse programs.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies.
- Ability to write and execute complex SQL statements.
Desired skills:
- Experience supporting a large-scale data conversion and integration effort.
- Understanding of Momentum Financials and ERP implementations.
- Experience in configuring and administering webMethods Integration servers.
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experiences
