Location: Remote - USA

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Teamcenter Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Siemens Teamcenter Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions for our enterprise operations. This is a fully remote position within the United States, working with cross-functional global teams to deliver scalable and innovative PLM solutions that drive business transformation.

The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with deep technical expertise in Teamcenter architecture, integrations, and deployment in complex enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own the overall Teamcenter solution architecture and technical roadmap.
  • Design, configure, and implement Teamcenter PLM solutions aligned with business and IT strategy.
  • Lead technical workshops, solution design sessions, and system architecture reviews.
  • Define Teamcenter data models, workflows, BMIDE configurations, and customization strategies.
  • Integrate Teamcenter with enterprise systems including ERP, CAD (NX, SolidWorks, CATIA), MES, and Cloud platforms.
  • Provide technical leadership for Teamcenter upgrades, migrations, and performance tuning.
  • Define PLM security models, compliance standards, and data governance practices.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, developers, infrastructure, and security teams.
  • Lead and mentor development and support teams on Teamcenter best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex Teamcenter technical issues and incidents.
  • Engage with Siemens and third-party vendors for solution support and optimization.
  • Prepare technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and solution specifications.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience as a Teamcenter Architect or Senior Teamcenter Consultant.
  • Strong expertise in Siemens Teamcenter architecture, configurations, and deployment.
  • Experience with BMIDE, Active Workspace, ITK, SOA, RAC Customization, and Teamcenter integrations.
  • Strong understanding of PLM business processes across engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain.
  • Experience integrating Teamcenter with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and CAD tools (NX, SolidWorks, CATIA).
  • Proficient in Teamcenter installation, upgrade strategies, and performance optimization.
  • Knowledge of cloud deployment (AWS, Azure) and PLM SaaS models is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to lead complex technical discussions.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • Siemens Teamcenter certifications are a plus.

Preferred Experience:
  • Experience in highly regulated industries (Aerospace, Automotive, Medical Devices, Manufacturing).
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD for PLM environments.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in a distributed remote team environment.
