We are seeking an experienced Teamcenter Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Siemens Teamcenter Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions for our enterprise operations. This is a fully remote position within the United States, working with cross-functional global teams to deliver scalable and innovative PLM solutions that drive business transformation.
The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with deep technical expertise in Teamcenter architecture, integrations, and deployment in complex enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the overall Teamcenter solution architecture and technical roadmap.
- Design, configure, and implement Teamcenter PLM solutions aligned with business and IT strategy.
- Lead technical workshops, solution design sessions, and system architecture reviews.
- Define Teamcenter data models, workflows, BMIDE configurations, and customization strategies.
- Integrate Teamcenter with enterprise systems including ERP, CAD (NX, SolidWorks, CATIA), MES, and Cloud platforms.
- Provide technical leadership for Teamcenter upgrades, migrations, and performance tuning.
- Define PLM security models, compliance standards, and data governance practices.
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, infrastructure, and security teams.
- Lead and mentor development and support teams on Teamcenter best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex Teamcenter technical issues and incidents.
- Engage with Siemens and third-party vendors for solution support and optimization.
- Prepare technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and solution specifications.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 7+ years of hands-on experience as a Teamcenter Architect or Senior Teamcenter Consultant.
- Strong expertise in Siemens Teamcenter architecture, configurations, and deployment.
- Experience with BMIDE, Active Workspace, ITK, SOA, RAC Customization, and Teamcenter integrations.
- Strong understanding of PLM business processes across engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain.
- Experience integrating Teamcenter with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and CAD tools (NX, SolidWorks, CATIA).
- Proficient in Teamcenter installation, upgrade strategies, and performance optimization.
- Knowledge of cloud deployment (AWS, Azure) and PLM SaaS models is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to lead complex technical discussions.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).
- Siemens Teamcenter certifications are a plus.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in highly regulated industries (Aerospace, Automotive, Medical Devices, Manufacturing).
- Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD for PLM environments.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in a distributed remote team environment.
