DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Public Health Program Administrator, you will support the Bureau of Medical Marijuana (BMM) and manage the safe and effective delivery of medical marijuana for patients with a serious medical conditions. You will supervise a central regional field staff, oversee operational permit inspections, and consult with program areas, agencies, and county offices to provide feedback on BMM field compliance. This role requires strong analytical skills to make independent decisions regarding regulatory processes and a genuine desire to deliver access methods that balance patient need for the latest treatments with patient care and safety. In addition, you will develop guidelines for growers and dispensaries, conduct annual regional audits, and recommend compliance actions related to inspections, investigations, complaints and inquiries.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a Public Health Program Associate 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- A bachelor's degree and two years of professional experience in the development, analysis, or monitoring of programs, grants, or contracts in health, human services, social or behavioral services, health care services, or health insurance; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Other Requirements:
- PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.
