The Executive Assistant to the Senior Vice President of People is an essential role within our organization, providing essential administrative and operational support to the SVP of People and the broader Human Resources team. The ideal candidate will be proactive, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, offering resourceful solutions and impeccable organizational skills. This role demands professionalism, discretion, and the ability to handle sensitive HR matters with confidentiality.

As an integral member of the HR team, you will assist in managing confidential employee-related information, supporting HR initiatives, and ensuring efficient operations. The role requires a strong understanding of our company's structure and the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Your contribution will play a key role in advancing HR strategies and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

You Will:
  • Calendar & Schedule Management:
    • Efficiently coordinate the SVP of People's calendar, managing complex scheduling needs for internal and external meetings, events, and travel. Prioritize and resolve scheduling conflicts while ensuring optimal time utilization.
  • Meeting Coordination & Preparation:
    • Prepare for meetings by organizing agendas, presentations, and materials, ensuring timely follow-up on action items. Provide logistical support for HR team meetings and company-wide HR events.
  • Communication & Correspondence:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external communications on People matters. Draft clear, professional correspondence and reports, ensuring attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Travel & Expense Coordination:
    • Organize and manage travel arrangements for the SVP of People, including domestic and international travel itineraries, accommodations, transportation, and expense reports.
  • HR Team Support:
    • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the HR team, helping manage employee documentation, assist with HR projects, employee engagement initiatives, and talent management activities.
  • Confidentiality & Compliance:
    • Handle sensitive and confidential HR information with the utmost discretion. Ensure compliance with privacy regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Project Support & Execution:
    • Assist with HR-related projects, special initiatives, and events. This includes research, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to support ongoing HR strategies.
  • Administrative Operations:
    • Perform a variety of essential administrative tasks such as document management, filing systems, expense reporting, and general office support.
  • Relationship Management:
    • Foster and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders, including executives, HR team members, and external partners, to ensure smooth communication and collaboration.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Proactively identify areas for process improvement within HR workflows and administrative operations, implementing changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in support of strategic HR goals.
  • Event & Program Coordination:
  • Assist in the planning and execution of HR-related events, such as team-building activities, off-site meetings, training sessions, and other gatherings, ensuring seamless coordination and execution.


You Bring:

  • Experience:
    • Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Assistant, ideally with exposure to HR or People functions in a fast-paced environment. Experience supporting senior leaders is preferred.
  • Education:
    • A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Key Skills:
    • Organizational Excellence: Exceptional time management, prioritization, and problem-solving skills to effectively juggle multiple tasks and deadlines.
    • Communication Proficiency: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, able to engage with all levels of the organization with clarity and professionalism.
    • Discretion & Confidentiality: Proven ability to handle sensitive HR matters and maintain confidentiality with the utmost professionalism.
    • Technical Competence: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, calendar management software, collaboration tools, and general office technology.
    • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail in document preparation, HR data management, and correspondence.
    • Proactive & Resourceful: Self-starter with the ability to anticipate needs, resolve challenges, and think critically in a fast-paced environment.
    • Professionalism: A polished, professional demeanor, capable of representing the SVP of People and the organization with integrity and tact.

Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.

Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid's equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs. (Cash or equity incentive awards, if any, will depend on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and company performance.)

Base Pay Range (Annual)

$107,300-$147,510 USD
