Compensation Range:
$96,860.00 - $145,290.00

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.

Responsibilities:

The Assistant Director of Staff Training is responsible for providing strategic leadership in planning, designing, implementing, coordinating and evaluating comprehensive training and development programs across the enterprise that are aligned with the organization's mission, values, and goals.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Develops and aligns program's strategic plan and activities with broader organizational strategy; partners with department managers, HR leaders, and other key stakeholders to support staff professional development, upskilling, and career advancement across the University enterprise.
  • Directs and administers internal staff training programs and learning services, including new employee orientation, technical and soft skill training classes, department retreats/in-services, and licensed training programs including Crucial Conversations, DiSC, and Change Management.
  • Designs, develops, and delivers innovative training programs and workshops, collaborates with instructional design team to create engaging e-learning modules. Champions the development of initiatives to meet the needs of diverse learners of various organizational units.
  • Analyze learning needs through and continuously assess the effectiveness of learning programs through feedback mechanisms, evaluations, and performance metrics to recommend learning solutions or enhancements.
  • Lead team of organizational development specialists including hiring, performance management, and ongoing coaching and career/professional development
  • Provides oversight of program related expenditures and vendor payments.


MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, HRD or related field. Master's preferred.
  • 8 years HR experience with workplace training, curriculum/content development, and program management, including 3 years of supervisory experience


CERTIFICATIONS:
  • DiSC, Crucial Conversations, and/or Change Management certification upon hire preferred
