About the Role

As the Head of Recruiting, you will take full ownership of building and scaling Crisp's talent acquisition function. This is a strategic leadership role where you'll drive the entire recruiting strategy, build systems that scale, and build the team that will fuel Crisp's growth from $55M to $100M.

You will own the talent strategy that drives our business forward. You'll build the systems, the team, and the processes that elevate Crisp's recruiting to a level where we don't just fill roles - we strategically align talent to help us hit $100M and beyond.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead a recruiting strategy that attracts and hires elite talent across specialized functions, ensuring alignment with Crisp's growth from $55M to $100M.
  • Build, mentor, and manage a high-performance recruiting team - hire, develop, and scale a team of 3-5 recruiters, creating a culture of ownership, accountability, and excellence.
  • Source, engage, and recruit top-tier talent using a mix of outbound sourcing, executive search techniques, and personal networks to fill critical roles across sales, marketing, leadership, and technical functions.
  • Establish and refine recruiting processes, tools, and systems - improve efficiency, reduce time-to-hire, and ensure a consistent, high-quality candidate experience across all stages of the hiring process.
  • Partner with senior leaders and hiring managers to advise on talent strategy, provide market insights, and guide hiring decisions that will move the needle for the business.
  • Create an exceptional candidate experience - from initial engagement to offer acceptance, ensuring every candidate feels valued, respected, and aligned with Crisp's mission.
  • Drive continuous improvement in how we hire - assess, optimize, and implement new strategies to improve hiring outcomes, team efficiency, and leadership satisfaction.


Requirements
  • 5-7+ years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, with at least 3 years leading recruiting teams in high-growth environments.
  • Proven track record of designing and executing successful talent acquisition strategies that attract and secure elite talent across multiple disciplines.
  • Experience building and scaling recruiting functions, including implementing best-in-class recruitment technologies and analytics.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills with the ability to influence senior executives and stakeholders through data-driven insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Demonstrated capability in managing complex searches, executive recruitment, and navigating sophisticated talent markets.
  • Passionate about creating outstanding candidate experiences.
  • Data-savvy with proficiency in leveraging analytics and metrics to optimize recruiting outcomes and demonstrate impact.


Bonus, But Not Required
  • Previous experience recruiting talent in industries such as professional services, tech, legal, or consulting.
  • Familiarity with employer branding strategies and employee value proposition (EVP) development.
