Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Act as legal representative for employers in a range of employment law matters, focusing exclusively on employer-side issues.
- Manage and litigate complex cases involving workplace disputes, compliance, and legal challenges posed by employment practices.
- Provide proactive and strategic legal advice to corporate clients on various employment law issues to prevent potential legal disputes and litigations.
- Collaborate with a team of senior attorneys to design and implement effective defense strategies tailored to client needs.
- Stay abreast of the latest changes in employment law and integrate this knowledge into practice and strategy development.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of dedicated experience in employment law, specifically employer-side representation.
- Must possess an active California Bar License.
- Extensive experience handling employment law cases within California, familiar with state-specific laws and regulations.
- Demonstrated excellence in legal research, writing, and oral advocacy.
- Proven track record of managing complex litigation cases and providing effective legal advice.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience working with or representing Fortune 500 companies.
- Skill in negotiation and conflict resolution specifically in high-stake corporate law environments.
- Experience in mentoring or leading junior lawyers and legal staff.
