Employment Law Specialist

Join our prestigious law firm in Costa Mesa, CA, specializing in employer-side representation in employment law matters, where excellence, quality, and value are at the core of our practice. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging cases such as workplace disputes, compliance issues, and employment-related lawsuits, providing strategic advice to our high-profile corporate clients, including Fortune 500 companies. The role is inherently dynamic and requires a professional adept in legal research, writing, and oral advocacy, contributing to our commitment to delivering strategic defense strategies with precision.

Salary: $120,000 - $140,000 per year

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Act as legal representative for employers in a range of employment law matters, focusing exclusively on employer-side issues.
  • Manage and litigate complex cases involving workplace disputes, compliance, and legal challenges posed by employment practices.
  • Provide proactive and strategic legal advice to corporate clients on various employment law issues to prevent potential legal disputes and litigations.
  • Collaborate with a team of senior attorneys to design and implement effective defense strategies tailored to client needs.
  • Stay abreast of the latest changes in employment law and integrate this knowledge into practice and strategy development.

Minimum Position Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of dedicated experience in employment law, specifically employer-side representation.
  • Must possess an active California Bar License.
  • Extensive experience handling employment law cases within California, familiar with state-specific laws and regulations.
  • Demonstrated excellence in legal research, writing, and oral advocacy.
  • Proven track record of managing complex litigation cases and providing effective legal advice.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience working with or representing Fortune 500 companies.
  • Skill in negotiation and conflict resolution specifically in high-stake corporate law environments.
  • Experience in mentoring or leading junior lawyers and legal staff.
