Vice President of Operations

We are seeking a dynamic Vice President of Operations to lead our operations team towards substantial growth and operational excellence. This strategic position is crucial for driving our company from a revenue baseline of under $10 million to $30 million within three years. The role demands a leader skilled in redefining processes and culture in a high-stakes environment, with a primary focus on robust engineering advancements and streamlined manufacturing processes. Salary: $175,000.00 - $225,000.00 per year

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Interface and collaborate across departments to ensure alignment and efficiency in operations.
  • Lead strategic initiatives focusing on scaling operations and optimizing process efficiency across the company.
  • Instill a results-driven culture with clear accountability, utilizing metrics and KPIs to guide operational decisions and improvements.
  • Define and drive the implementation of enhanced manufacturing processes and robust quality control measures to ensure product excellence and compliance with industry standards.
  • Conduct regular assessments of operational systems and strategies, making data-driven adjustments to align with company goals.
  • Collaborate closely with the CEO and Board of Directors to develop and implement operational strategies that reflect the organization's long-term objectives.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives that reduce waste, enhance production timelines, and ensure product reliability.
  • Recruit, mentor, and lead a team capable of achieving ambitious operational goals, fostering an environment of growth and performance.

Minimum Position Qualifications:
  • 15+ years in operational leadership, particularly in high-tech, engineering, or manufacturing sectors.
  • Proven experience managing operations in defense, aerospace, or telecommunications industries.
  • Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement processes.
  • Strong background in strategic operations planning, quality control, and supply chain management.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards such as ITAR, NIST, and ISO 9000.
  • High proficiency in technology deployment and operations management systems, including ERP and MES platforms.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience leading operations within a rapidly scaling enterprise valued at over $25 million.
  • Demonstrated capability in mentoring and leadership with a focus on team development and operational excellence.
  • Advanced degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience in managing international operations and global supply chain networks.
  • Strong technical acumen with a history of integrating innovative manufacturing technologies and systems.
