- $145,000-$180,000 + 35% bonus potential

Responsibilities:
- Market and Competitor Analysis:
- Conduct in-depth research on market trends, competitive landscapes, and customer preferences in the welded heat exchanger sector.
- Identify opportunities for product differentiation and competitive advantage.
- Develop a global market strategy that highlights regional differences and opportunities, particularly in Europe, Asia, and the Americas.
- Business Development Strategy:
- Design and execute a strategic business development plan that aligns with the company's long-term sales strategy and growth targets for welded products.
- Prioritize opportunities in emerging markets and industries such as chemical processing, energy, and marine applications, where welded heat exchangers are highly relevant.
- Collaborate with internal teams including engineering, product development, and marketing to drive the introduction of new products and the enhancement of existing offerings.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, industry influencers, engineering firms, EPC contractors, and end-users.
- Lead workshops, seminars, product demonstrations, and technical seminars to showcase the company's product line and its unique value proposition.
- Work closely with sales teams to ensure alignment between business development activities and sales targets.
- Product and Market Innovation:
- Drive innovation by identifying market needs and working with R&D and engineering teams to develop products that meet those needs.
- Ensure the product portfolio remains competitive by focusing on efficiency, durability, and ease of maintenance.
- Promote energy-efficient and environmentally friendly solutions that align with sustainability trends in the market.
- Customer-Centric Solutions:
- Collaborate with internal teams to offer customized solutions that address specific customer challenges and industry requirements.
- Drive initiatives that enhance the customer experience and satisfaction through continuous product improvement.
- Build long-term relationships with customers by delivering high-quality products and services.
- Business Growth and Expansion:
- Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) related to business development, adjusting strategies as needed to ensure business targets are met.
- Identify opportunities for partnerships, alliances, and acquisitions to enhance the company's market position.
- Provide leadership with regular updates on market developments, business wins, and potential challenges.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred
- 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a similar role within the heat exchanger industry or related fields with a preference with welded heat exchanger experience
- Strong knowledge of welded heat exchanger technologies and their applications in industries such as oil & gas, power generation, chemical processing, and marine
- Proven success in identifying market opportunities, developing business plans, and achieving sales growth
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex market data and trends
- Superior communication and presentation skills, with experience leading workshops and customer engagements
- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders
- Self-driven and motivated with a strategic mindset and proactive approach to problem-solving
- Willingness to travel minimum of 25% globally as needed for client meetings, industry events, and business development efforts
