The pay range for this position In Western Washington varies between $71,100.00 - $99,450.00, and for Eastern Washington varies between $63,444.00 - $88,741.00. Washington Dental Service and its affiliates, including Arcora Foundation, Delta Dental of Washington, and TriForza Corp. intends to offer the selected candidate a base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. Base pay will also be adjusted based on the candidate's geographic location.

- Conduct user research using methods such as usability testing, user interviews, card sorting, and surveys to uncover actionable insights.
- Create personas, user journeys, and experience maps based on research findings
- Analyze data to identify user behaviors, needs, and user frustrations
- Collaborate across teams to incorporate feedback into intuitive, accessible, reusable, and scalable designs
- Present findings to team members, partners and customers from multi-disciplinary backgrounds and varying organizational levels
- Assist in creating user-centered designs by understanding business requirements, voice of the customer, user journeys, customer feedback, and usability studies
- Translate user research insights into user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences
- Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback
- Participate in product discovery activities and research/design roadmap planning exercises
- Work closely with UX team members to iterate and refine prototypes based on feedback and user testing
Experience, skills, and education do you need to have to succeed in the position: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to successfully perform the essential functions of the position.
- Bachelors degree in Human Factors, Psychology, Human-Computer Interaction or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2+ years of experience as a UX Researcher, UX Designer or in a similar role
- Proficient with research tools such as Usertesting.com, Qualtrics, Google Analytics
- Ability to collect and interpret qualitative and quantitative data to extract insights
- Experience establishing and running research studies, including project management of activities, timelines, and user communications
- Experience developing wireframes and prototypes (Figma, Sketch, or similar software)
- Design technically feasible solutions across all form factors by translating requirements into actionable work within Agile workflows
- Familiarity or experience with designing for digital accessibility
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience creating reports and presentations for a variety of audiences
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work independently in a fast-paced environment
