Mission: Integrate and manage a new type of supplier for AZELIS using new IT/Web tools while providing innovated solutions to execute the onboarding and growth of this new supplier. Key Responsibilities:
  • Supplier Onboarding & Development:
    • Lead the strategic onboarding, development, and optimization of a new supplier within emerging markets and industries, ensuring alignment with AZELIS's objectives and market expansion goals.
    • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of internal and external supplier system platforms, products, and capabilities.


  • Leadership:
  • Oversee the full project of onboarding of a supplier with a portfolio of over 300 products and serving 600+ customers
    • Continue with providing ongoing training and robust support to customers and sales teams to ensure smooth integration and operational success.


  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with multiple internal teams - to align project goals with organizational timelines.
    • Foster continuous improvement efforts to optimize processes, ensuring seamless execution and delivery.


  • IT and Process Automation:
    • Leverage both existing and newly implemented IT systems (e.g., Metamaze) to automate critical processes, including customer order entry, payment processing, and inventory management.
    • Drive innovation in systems integration to streamline operations and improve efficiency.


  • Technical Expertise & Training:
  • Provide in-depth technical expertise and product knowledge to internal teams, stakeholders, and external customers.
  • Lead training initiatives to enhance team capabilities, ensuring they are well-equipped to support product offerings and customer needs.
  • Perform any other related tasks in support of the department and organization.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry, materials science, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field preferred
  • Proven experience in supplier development and project management
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment and adapt to changing priorities while staying positive and motivating internal employees
  • Only candidates with existing legal permission to work in Canada will be considered.
