Responsibilities:
- Lead supplier integration and performance management for executive transport programs in San Antonio.
- Serve as program manager overseeing supplier operations and cross-functional collaboration.
- Provide technical and business guidance to critical suppliers, supporting process improvement and adherence to Boeing standards.
- Manage supplier production readiness, delivery schedules, risk mitigation plans, and performance recovery.
- Drive supply chain strategy development and execution, coordinating with engineering, configuration management, and program stakeholders.
- Lead supplier assessments and implement corrective/preventive actions.
- Analyze performance data, identify root causes, and propose creative, actionable solutions.
- Facilitate stakeholder communication regarding performance plans, issues, risks, and opportunities.
- Support work movement and serve as the primary supply chain integrator for assigned programs.
- Champion safety and operational excellence initiatives across supplier engagements.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree and typically 14+ years of related experience; or Master's degree with 12+ years; or PhD with 9+ years; or 18+ years of equivalent work experience in lieu of formal education.
- Travel: Ability to travel up to 50%.
- Experience Requirements:
- 5+ years managing supplier/vendor performance and deliverables.
- 5+ years in problem-solving and developing alternative strategies.
- 5+ years leading and managing diverse cross-functional teams.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in aircraft production, modification, or conversion programs.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
- Demonstrated success in strategic planning, initiative integration, and cross-functional leadership.
- Experience building long-term supplier and stakeholder relationships.
- Previous leadership of project management teams in a fast-paced, technical environment.
