Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist and Wake Forest University School of Medicine is seeking an open rank full time orthopaedic surgeon with significant arthroplasty experience and subspeciality training in adult reconstruction.

Position Overview:
  • Location: Position is held in a busy subspeciality orthopaedic practice in Greensboro, North Carolina with potential additional locations to be mutually determined
  • Clinical Focus: Total joint replacements with a strong focus on routine and complex arthroplasty. The selected individual will be actively involved in both inpatient and outpatient clinical duties with education and research opportunities available.
  • Teaching Opportunities: Engage in orthopedic resident and fellow teaching, as well as participate in clinical and laboratory research if interested.
  • Collaboration: Current department of 90 total faculty includes 6 arthroplasty faculty.
  • Call Expectations: Call expectations in alignment with other orthopaedic surgeons not to exceed 4-6 nights per month general orthopaedic call at a regional hospital in Greensboro
  • Support: APP & Clinical Support


Qualifications:
  • Certification: Candidates should be board certified or board eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery with fellowship training in arthroplasty.
  • License: Eligible for NC Medical License.
