This is part of a multi-year initiative focused on modernizing and enhancing pricing capabilities.
The role is based in Westlake, Texas, and involves both hands-on development and providing technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.

The role is based in Westlake, Texas, and involves both hands-on development and providing technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product management to understand requirements and decompose epics into actionable stories.
- Design and develop scalable, resilient, and cloud-based systems using 12-factor application principles.
- Deliver solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations with high performance and reliability.
- Build and deploy cloud-enabled applications using continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
- Provide outstanding production support, including participation in on-call rotation as needed.
- Mentor and guide junior software engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and learning.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Expertise in Core Java and frameworks like Spring Boot.
- Proficient in Angular framework for front-end development.
- Experience with SQL and stored procedures (preferably Oracle).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a small agile team and independently, maintaining a strong user-centric focus.
- Passion for learning and staying updated with the latest development technologies and frameworks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Firm grasp of AWS or other cloud platforms and containerization technologies such as ECS and Docker.
- Experience with the following technologies: Spring, myBatis, REST/Web Services, Maven, Typescript, XML, Apache Tomcat, Swagger, Message Queue.
- Experience building and deploying cloud-enabled applications using 12-factor design.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment tools such as Jenkins.
- Experience building applications using automated pipelines.
- Experience providing production support including on-call support.
