This role will lead the US-East Industrial Service Sales Organization in delivering orders, margin and growth for the service activities of Power Generation equipment in industrial applications for the US-East region. This role will also "double hat" as the Sales/Market Leader for the Industrial Services business across the Americas and be a critical member of the Industrial Staff.

In this role, you will drive sales of $110M +, with ~15 employees for whom you will provide leadership. You will lead executive-level relationships with key customers, and you will have strong focus on driving speed and simplicity to decision making in the segment. You will set a vision and clear strategy to provide direction and build a one team environment. You will also identify opportunities for volume and backlog growth, and portfolio solutions. You will need to have strong knowledge of market economics, competitive issues, technology and projects. In this role, you will bring together key decision makers in other parts of the Gas Power enterprise, including application engineering and product sales, to make the right commercial decisions.

The salary range for this position is 180000 to 200000 USD Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a 35% performance bonus.
*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.

Your Role:
- Lead the sales team consisting of Account Managers, Parts Sales Managers, Repair Sales Managers, and the Business Development Manager to determine/create customer needs, solve business problems through consultative approach, develop strategic sales / business plans and be responsible for delivering revenue, margin and penetration commitments.
- Develop influential relationships with assigned customers at all levels and develop strategies to win profitable business from those customers.
- Lead market intelligence, develop customer strategies and campaign plans across the Industrial segment working closely with the ITR Directors for the West and Latam and the Strat90 team.
- Work closely with the technical support team, including commercial operations, finance, product support, engineering and others in the implementation of customer strategies.
- Provide specific leadership, plans, and actions to assure that GE wins profitable services sales within the assigned customers and ensure close working relationships with product sales.
- Be responsible for customer satisfaction evaluation, plans, and follow through.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and development for the commercial sales team to attract, retain, grow and build a talent pipeline.
- Own the accuracy of orders, commitment and convertible orders forecast for the Industrial segment.
- Be the voice of the customer and promote a customer centric mindset.
- Act as a member of the Industrial leadership team to review and approve/deny commercial and technical deviations in accordance with the underlying Steam Power Policy 5.0 DOA (delegation of authority).
- Oversee and be responsible for implementing LEAN principals such as standard work, problem solving, and continuous improvement to drive improved quality, first time yield, speed, and productivity through the simplification and improvement of existing Sales ITO processes and tools.
- Represent the Industrial segment globally by being an effective voice and agent of sensible change and simplification of the Sales ITO process within the Steam Power business. Provide leadership or support for global Steam Power Sales ITO initiatives.

- Have the ability to adapt to changing markets conditions and business strategies that may require organization structure and role changes.
Basic Qualifications:
- Proven leadership experience in sales, commercial operations, or ITR (Inquiry to Remittance).
- Minimum 10 years of experience in GE Power Sales, Commercial Operations, Engineering or ITR.
- Minimum 10 years of experience within the Power Generation industry
- Bachelor's degree, in Engineering or Business, from an accredited university or college
- Experience with direct management of employees
- Ability to adapt to changing markets conditions and business strategies that may require organization structure and role changes.

- Postgraduate degree(s) in business, and/or engineering
- Strong energy industry experience
- Direct customer experience
- Strong commercial acumen
