AR Management & Valuation:
- Direct the patient AR function, ensuring accurate valuation, reserve calculations, and aging analysis in compliance with GAAP, healthcare regulations, and value-based care requirements.
Value-Based Care Leadership:
- Develop and implement AR strategies that align with value-based care models, optimizing reimbursement tied to quality metrics, patient outcomes, and cost efficiency.
MSA Revenue Oversight:
- Manage revenue streams from Managed Service Agreements, ensuring accurate tracking, reporting, and reconciliation to maximize financial performance.
High-Volume Data Management:
- Leverage advanced analytics to interpret large datasets, identify trends, and implement data-driven strategies to improve AR performance.
International Operations Collaboration:
- Partner with international teams to align AR processes, ensure compliance with global regulations, and support cross-border financial operations.
Strategic Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of AR professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and alignment with value-based care objectives.
Reporting & Compliance:
- Deliver comprehensive financial reports, forecasts, and KPIs to executive leadership, ensuring adherence to payer contracts, value-based care agreements, and international regulatory standards.
Technology & Process Improvement:
- Drive adoption of EHR/EMR systems (e.g., Athena), AR software, and automation tools to enhance efficiency and data accuracy across domestic and international operations.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with clinical, operational, IT, and international teams to integrate systems, resolve AR issues, and align with value-based care goals.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting.
- CPA preferred.
EXPERIENCE
- 10+ years of progressive experience in healthcare accounting and finance, with deep expertise in patient AR and value-based care.
- 5+ years in a senior leadership role (e.g., Senior Manager or Director level).
KNOWLEDGE
- In-depth understanding of value-based care models, risk-sharing arrangements, and quality-driven reimbursement structures.
- Familiarity with MSA revenue models.
SKILLS
- Proven track record in AR valuation, MSA revenue management, and international operations.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, or data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) for high-volume data analysis.
- Expertise in healthcare financial systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Athena) and AR platforms.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and cross-cultural collaboration skills for international operations.
ABILITIES
- Ability to delegate responsibility and authority to staff and work under multiple priorities.
- Ability to work creatively with management and department staff to achieve objectives.
