We are seeking a qualified, experienced, and dedicated Heart and Vascular Manager that will oversee the daily operations of the Heart and Vascular Department, ensuring that the department runs smoothly and efficiently. This role will involve leadership, strategic planning, and patient care management in a busy, high-volume cardiology practice. This position includes working closely with billing, coding, and administrative teams to maximize reimbursement, minimize claim denials, and improve overall financial performance while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. The Heart and Vascular Manager will be responsible for coordinating a team of clinical and administrative staff, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards, and fostering an environment of continuous improvement.

- Leadership & Staff Management:
- Lead and supervise a team of Heart and Vascular professionals, including providers, nurses, and administrative staff.
- Oversee recruitment, training, and development of staff to ensure high standards of patient care and operational efficiency.
- Manage scheduling, staffing, and performance evaluations for the cardiology team.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Operations & Revenue Cycle Management:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the Heart and Vascular Department, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.
- Manage budgets, supplies, and resources for the department.
- Collaborate with the revenue cycle team to optimize billing processes, coding, and reimbursement rates for cardiology services.
- Analyze financial reports, identifying trends and areas for improvement in revenue generation and cost control.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, insurance requirements, and accreditation standards, focusing on financial and operational integrity.
- Patient Care & Clinical Support:
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Address patient concerns and ensure a positive patient experience throughout their Heart and Vascular care journey.
- Strategic Planning & Improvement:
- Develop and implement strategies to improve department efficiency, patient care, and staff satisfaction.
- Participate in quality assurance initiatives and continuous improvement programs.
- Analyze operational and financial data to determine areas of success and those for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field is preferred.
- Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience in Heart and Vascular or a related healthcare field, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- At least 3 years of experience with revenue cycle management in a healthcare setting, preferably in a cardiology department.
- Strong understanding of billing, coding, reimbursement, and payer requirements within the cardiology specialty.
- Skills & Abilities:
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in revenue cycle management, billing, and coding specific to cardiology.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, patient care standards, and cardiology-specific procedures.
