SUMMARY: The person in this position will be responsible for procuring available market ready cattle in a predetermined area. Duties also include transferring pertinent information to all scale house coordinators for price reporting and scheduling purposes. This person must also stay informed on market conditions and monitor available cattle supply and is responsible for decisions regarding cattle pricing.
Other duties include developing strong working relationships with all customers, scale house coordinators and upper management.

Any listed amounts represent the base pay range. Additional compensation may be available for this position based on various factors such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonuses. Pay is just one part of Tyson's total compensation package.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: BS degree in Animal Science or Agriculture preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience: 3 plus years experience in the cattle and or packing industry preferred. Communication: Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Special Skills: Excellent math skills a must.
- Travel: 70 -80%
- Special Note: Prefer applicant live within 75 miles of Springfield, IL
