WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Oversee NetSuite and other financial systems to streamline reporting and analyze business performance
  • Develop and maintain annual operating budgets, quarterly forecasts and a rolling five-year model (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
  • Enhance forecasting accuracy and provide guidance on marketing analytics, pricing, and cost metrics
  • Develop reporting and analysis of sales system information to provide actionable information on business performance, trends, and opportunities
  • Work with the marketing and operations teams for ad-hoc analysis of menu tests, marketing tests, hours of operation and other stand-alone data needs
  • Partner with the accounting team to ensure accurate revenue recognition, expense allocation, inventory management, and capitalization, ensuring efficiency, forecasting accuracy, and compliance with audit and debt covenants
  • Work with operations teams to identify key performance indicators and optimize store-level margins
  • Lead P&L reviews and set goals, providing insights into menu item performance
  • Collaborate with the business development team to track sales opportunities and investments, driving future growth
  • Assist in developing business cases for new locations and channels
  • Partner with the technology team to enhance data collection and retention
  • Develop dashboards to provide immediate insights into business performance
  • Prepare analysis, materials, and narratives for earnings processes and board of directors' meetings
  • Manage and mentor finance team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement

WHAT YOU'LL BRING
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or finance or accounting degree
  • 7-10 years of relevant work experience, preferably in the restaurant, franchise, or national chains industry
  • Advanced Excel skills, experience with NetSuite, MS Office 365, Google Workspace, Dropbox, and Zoom Experience in related industry (restaurant, franchise, national chains)
  • Project management abilities with strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Exhibit excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet demanding deadlines.
  • Proficient experience in revenue recognition, expense allocation, inventory management, and financial modeling
  • Experience with NetSuite, MS Office 365/ Teams, Google, Dropbox, Zoom
