Key Account Manager
Battlefield Equipment Rentals (a division of Toromont Industries Ltd.) has an immediate opening for an Key Account Manager (Sales rep), operating out of Sudbury. This region is constantly busy, growing, operating with a goal-oriented and customer-driven team. The Key Account Manager operates as the direct liaison between our branches and our customers, and is a crucial position in developing and maintaining the relationships that are required to grow our business.

The Key Account Manager operates as the direct liaison between our branches and our customers, and is a crucial position in developing and maintaining the relationships that are required to grow our business.
Reports to: Corporate Sales Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- The ability to provide excellent customer relations while keeping a positive attitude;
- You will be focused on managing Key Accounts for the Mining & Energy sectors, as well as Special Projects;
- Proactively solicit new and existing customers for equipment rentals and sales in the construction and industrial sectors;
- Manage and maintain accounts and relationships;
- Visit job sites and offices;
- Quote new equipment, building products and rental equipment;
- Deliver and communicate promotional material;
- Prepare detailed account growth plans;
- Cooperate and integrate with Regional Sales teams
- Manage and develop customers in various market segments;
- Develop positive relationships and rapport with internal teams and clientele;
- Ability to cater to customer schedules, after-hour events and emergencies, as well as on-call schedules;
- Must understand construction phases, job situations, seasonality, for timing of approaching customer for rental products;
- Manage and report through CRM;
- Create weekly and monthly territory planning in CRM;
- You will be expected to travel when required;
- Overnights will be required;
- Other duties as required;
Additional Qualifications
- Proficiency/prior experience with Systematics would be considered an asset;
- Technical aptitude of CAT equipment and operations would be considered an asset.
- Must be willing to work after hours and be on call;
- Travel and overnights will be required;
