Position Summary
Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations is seeking an Assistant Controller for its tire manufacturing facility located in Morrison, TN. You will support the Finance team with responsibilities in financial analysis, accounts payable trouble shooting, cost analysis, and financial reporting. Developing and maintaining planning and budgeting systems, the preparation of financial and management reports and procedures, and the presentation of findings and specific recommendations to senior management. Analyzing and interpreting trends requiring management's attention. You will apply practical knowledge of accounting principles, work independently with general supervision and work with production departments to conduct budgeting, inventories, and reporting activities in the plant.
The Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations plant in Warren County, Tennessee produces truck and bus radial tires, including premium steer and wide base. The nearly 2 million square-foot facility employs more than 1,100 teammates as Operating Technicians, Safety and Health Managers, Quality Assurance, Finance, Process Engineers, Production Analysts, Mechanical and Electrical Engineers.

Minimum Qualifications
Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a bachelor's degree; or 3 years and a master's degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience
