The Senior Director of Community Health, Inova Cares for Families directs and supports the operations of large and growing Inova Health System Community Health programs and clinics. Leads and coordinates key strategic business developments and functional services to support division objectives and organizational goals. Provides operations and program finance oversight including budgeting, control of salary/non-salary and capital investment expenses. Manages professional staff through daily supervision, team member relations and staff development.

- Oversees Community Health to ensure it is performing effectively, which may include but not
limited to, preparing and implementing business strategy to achieve the organization's goals,
ensuring legal compliance, communicating and collaborating with stakeholders, managing
employment decisions and contributions of supporting team members, and managing
departmental budget and fiscal success. - Oversees and monitors all quality improvement initiatives and outcomes management.
- Ensures that functional operations are in full compliance with accrediting and regulatory agency
standards while participating, as needed, in reviews or surveys. - Oversees and monitors program safety initiatives.
- Ensures quality patient care by managing clinical practice and patient care delivery that support
optimal patient, customer and population outcomes. - Ensures revenue/growth targets are met relative to financial performance through maintenance of
volumes. - Coordinates and monitors the development of long term plans and annual budgets for all
programs. - Monitors financial performance to ensure programs meet or exceed budgeted revenue/expense
ratios.
Sr Director, Community Health Minimum Qualifications:
- Masters Degree
- 6 years of healthcare related experience
- 3 years of management in a healthcare setting preferrably in an ambulatory setting
Sr Director, Community Health Preferred Qualifications:
- Community Health experience collaborating with internal and external partners.
- Clinical experience is highly preferred.
- Fluency in Spanish
